Producing one of the biggest corporate events Sydney has ever seen, the TLS team won the role of producing Australia’s biggest corporate event known for Amway China 2011. Entertaining over 9000 guests over four events and with a production budget of over $3 million, the night was filled with spectacular entertainment provided by Jason Coleman, light and laser shows and visuals projections across 190 metre screens. The theme of the night was to present to our guests the concept of “the island sea.”

Amway guests were welcomed with roving entertainers ranging from lifeguards to acrobats to comedic performers. As the night progressed, our guests were presented with a display of dance and musical performances, fire dancers, aerial acrobats, a pop concert and closing off with the finale of fireworks.

Our team have created seamless visuals projected across the screens that are a compilation of 3D renderings and motion graphics pieces that worked together in conjunction with the entertainment and performers. The on screen visuals were animated and rendered entirely in house using the aspect ratio of 14:1.

Working as a team around the clock on visuals that are almost 6x bigger than a cinematic projection, we have produced the biggest projections in Australian history thus creating an immersive experience for our guests from Amway.

In November 2011, tls was selected by Business Events Sydney to create a unique welcome event for 200 delegates from around the world. Dreamtime is Tourism Australia’s signature event to showcase Australia as a destination for business events. Key decision makers from 14 countries participated in a 5 day program that took them around the country. To set the scene for this exciting program, tls created a unique experience for the delegates on the Sydney Harbour Foreshore in the heart of the historic Rocks district.

tls combined a farmers market feel with 5 star dining and world class entertainment to present Sydney as a pre-eminent destination for business events and international incentive groups.

Guests were treated to a diverse array of talented roving entertainers while enjoying food prepared by some of the iconic Hunter Valley’s finest chefs all beneath a back-drop of Sydney’s unbeatable harbour amplified with a combination of giant media spheres and multimedia projections. MC Jason Coleman, Australia’s Got Talent 2011 winner Jack Vidgen and legendary indigenous performer Goomblar Wylo, rounded out an unforgettable evening’s entertainment.

The event was hugely successful, creating both an unbeatable start to the 2011 Dreamtime program and also presenting Sydney, in particular, as one of the world’s premiere destinations for visiting business groups.

Electronics Boutique, the largest retailer of interactive entertainment in the country, brings their 500 store managers, plus all regional and area managers together twice a year to reward top performers, communicate business plans and celebrate the results for the preceding 6 months. As their incumbent events and production partner having delivered all their events for the past 3 years, tls was charged with taking their awards night to a new level.

In November 2011, EB Games staff came together for an unprecedented night comprising an Oscars style awards ceremony, multimedia presentations and stellar entertainment including a choreographed dance spectacular and freestyle motocross riders jumping over the stage.

tls not only designed and coordinated the entire event, we also managed all AV, lighting and filming on the day.

The EB Games Expo had announced that they were going to open up to consumers. Originally created for EB store managers as part of its annual gamer conference, this was the first time in Australia that gaming publishers were able to get together in one place and showcase their games and products to the press and public.

tls not only managed the whole EB Expo event and the arena, we also built twelve exhibition stands for our clients such as EA Games, Warner Brothers, Redbull Mobile, Mindscape and Turtle Beach to name a few. The overall attendance for the weekend totalled to approximately 15,000.

The 2011 World Cyber Games program launched in style with a festival public event on the banks of the Parramatta River on Saturday 30th April.
Hundreds braved the temperamental weather to celebrate their love of gaming. In addition to those talented players who successfully won a place in the National Final later this year, the crowd enjoyed a variety of food, Ben & Jerrys ice cream, a wealth of gaming goodness and plenty of entertainment from capoeira displays, cool tunes from the Red Bull DJ through to a closing Jetski fireworks display that lit up the river like a bonfire.

A fantastic event that really kicked the WCG off to a great start for what will be its best year yet. There will be a series of qualifying events over the coming months where the best of the best will have their chance to win through to the National final in FIFA 11, Tekken 6, Counter Strike 1.6, Starcraft II, Warcraft III: The Frozen Throne and League of Legends. The next event will be in Sydney in June (details to be posted shortly) and will be followed by events in Brisbane and Melbourne.

Registrations will be open on their website at au.wcg.com very soon so check back regularly. We will also be notifying local community groups as we approach each event.
